At the beginning of the week of August 3rd, two music bands; Red Letters and X-Press traveled with the Alpha and Omega theatre studio to the city of Kherson. There, a festival was being held for the first time, for young adults and youth by the local youth group of the Baptist Church and by the Christian Youth Society of Ukraine! Photo

We ate and slept and laugh and played… travelling by car is always fun! Twenty five people, 2 small busses, 350 km, 2 kg of kielbasa, 12 l of water, and after 4 hours on the road we arrived!

On the territory of the “Tavriskiy Christian Institute” in the village of Antonovka all the necessary comforts for living and studying can be found. There, we settled into our assigned places to rest spiritually and physically!

The organizers were lead by Andrey Somov and they took care of everything! The preparations for the evening programme was especially well done, like never before! Here was so much variety! Some were on the beach, some played games, some were on the stage, some played football (soccer), some prepared for a presentation. Everyone was eager to attend the evening’s performance!!!

«One night – but a sea of good impressions»

The long-awaited moment has arrived!! Many people have gathered all together in enjoy in the wonderful atmosphere of fellowship with God and with each other! To tell you that it was time well spent would be an understatement! The evening was incredibly uplifting!!! The whole programme was extremely interesting and dynamic! There was a worship band, sermon, games with the audience, presentation from Alpha and Omega – everything was the result of our love for God!

So now we are all back home… all those wonderful times will remain in our hearts for a long time as great memories of this trip!
