In our life there are some events, that happen constantly, and all of them can be divided into two groups: first, insignificantly important, leave from our ideas not abandoning no noticeable tracks or changes there, already after a second, minute, an hour we can forget about them, as faces of people passing by, amount of steps on a stair and color of the next door. The second ones are put aside in our memory for months, years, and even decades, giving our character new lines, wisdom and new impressions to us and friends.

The recent journey of theater-studio “Alpha and Omega” to Kherson fell exactly into the second category of events, it was possible due to the invitation of the «Agape» mission and regional administration of this city. Participating in an charitable action, devoted to the Day of defense of children, Give hope to children», theater-studio showed orphans a performance written on the child's best seller of Max Lukado «You are special».

Everything began on Saturday, 30th of May, when after a long road with an enormous amount of games, songs and jokes we finally reached remarkable and very hospitable city of Kherson. The “Church of Christians” accepted us, thus accepted very well: they settled us in comfortable rooms, and fed so cool, that we were afraid of not fitting in our suits for performance! Kherson appeared a beautiful city indeed, though we had not so much time for excursions. But we were able to visit two services of one church of Kherson, where a part of music group «X-Press» even took part in service and was with a delight accepted by local young people.

And it came – the Day of defense of all the littlest, sincere and defenseless people on this planet – children! An audience began to fill the hall even before actors came, they were expecting a performance with impatience. Before the beginning all participants, however, as well as usually, strongly experienced: someone, sitting behind the scenes, in the hundredth times repeated necessary remarks (words of the role), the last painting of make-up was laid on someone. Finally, a hall was filled, and time for beginning came!

From the first minute of performance we were staggered by a mood with which children watched the play of actors: they were fully taken by it, practically not distracted and did not speak, as usually behave the majority of young children in audience. Also with a great pleasure they took part in the offered games by actors. It was felt after a performance, that we with the God’s help succeeded to make kids happy – they came up to all participants of play, thanked them, asked to come again, wanted take pictures with actors and just to talk to them. It was clearly, that these children need simple holidays like this one and are of a large necessity to conduct them over and over.

Collecting the last sceneries, we drove to the church for a couple of hours and with collected things departed to the lake in not far from the city, where the lovers of all types of swimming succeeded in enjoying to swim in a clean and not muddy by civilization water, and the others just relaxed after 2 days full of adventures.

That was all, time had flown so quickly, as it usually flies, when it is desirable to enjoy every moment. Some time of no less fun of going home and we, Praise God, healthy and unharmed came home – to our native and favourite Dnepropetrovsk. We are at home and a part of sincere children’s smiles, friendly and hospitable Kherson and charming nature of that part of the country will always remain in our hearts!
