«Christ is Risen!!!» «He is Risen Indeed!!!»

These words echoed from the mouths of many over the last weekend. And don’t be fooled, they weren’t simply thrown around; after all, we celebrated the Wonderful Day of the Risen Christ – Easter.

On that day, God gave us beautiful weather, great moods ready for celebration, an interesting, rich and quite varied programme of service, lovely decorations, and a fantastic atmosphere at Alpha and Omega. Three musical groups, a children’s presentation, our theatre studio, a wonderful sermon from Aleksey Navrotskiy, a personal testimony from Valera Verba, musical solos – all of this was included during our service. We also had the chance to speak with Roland Syens and Claire Ansell (Canada) through a direct, on-line connection. The hall was overflowing with people. Praise the Lord for this wonderful time together. Praise the Lord for giving of himself into death for our sakes. Praise Him for rising from the dead and now, he waits for us in Heaven. Photos

But this was not the end of our celebration at "Alpha and Omega"!

We continued our celebration of Easter in the Gagarina Ravine! Many young and beautiful people gathered for fellowship under the leadership of our most active and super-joy-bringing group Zhuzha and Co. They were resting outdoors, socializing, singing songs, playing volleyball and Frisbee, and even riding horses! There is never an event organized through Alpha and Omega that does not include tasty, well-prepared food; this time, thanks to Sasha Kurilenko! He even prepared it all outside. Sausages were roasted over and open fire, while salads and desserts were prepared! Working together unites us and fills us with satisfaction =) Praise God for the good weather which permitted such a wonderful time of fellowship outdoors! Everyone continued to hang out until late in the evening, no one wanted to leave… Photos

During this time of after-Easter cool weather, Alpha and Omega is warmed by the fresh memories of this amazing celebration of Easter, which will continue to live on in the hearts of each person who honours it!!!!
