8th of January – it seems that all holidays passed, but not all! There is one and very important event, which is also a cheerful and kind holiday – Christmas performance for kids.

What is also important is that this event has already become traditional and during past few years the hall is always full of boys and girls, and also of their parents. I believe that this performance was special both for every child, who came to watch kind fairy-tale, and for each member of the "Alpha and Omegas" team, who was involved in organization of some holiday in some case. But this performance was also very special for me personally, in fact this year I was honored with an opportunity to be a part of team. My role was small, but significant! Before the beginning of performance I (Cat Bazilio – one of the characters of a fairy-tale) with my charming partner Alyona Terekhina (Fox Alice – another character of a fairy-tale) tried to prevent Ded Moroz (who is actually Santa Claus) from coming for a holiday and, in they wanted to spoil performance, but actually all our attempts were not successful. And kids wanted to push us out, but we wanted to watch a fairy-tale, therefore we danced with Alice, and played, i even had to do some physical exercises – so, kids forgave us! In general, I think we succeeded in warming up kids before performance. It was very interesting to watch the reaction of little children, their burning eyes, and also to see the smiles of adults, who turned back to their past, which reminded them their happiest performances in childhood! There also was the main performance "Queen of eternal ice", but it is worthless to write about it, as it must be watched!!!

I would like to say “Thank you” first of all, to God for this opportunity to serve children of Dnepropetrovsk and its region without any difficulties. I also would like to thank especially to our Theater-studio "Alpha and Omega" for a magnificent performance, good play, bright decoration and simply for a good mood, both on the stage and behind the scenes. Thanks to all leaders of Student Center "Alpha and Omega" for their support and organization of this event. I’m already looking forward to having a Christmas 2011!

"Cat Brazilio" :)

Every day our life makes us feel being adult, responsible and serious people. But sometimes it is so cool to feel our childhood again, to feel as in a fairy-tale. Such opportunity is given to all people, who are interested in this, by a theater-studio "Alpha and Omega” every winter, by presenting performances to children and adults on Christmas theme. This year this happened in one of the halls of Dnepropetrovsk on January, 8th, where a performance was presented under the book of Andersen "The Snow Queen".

"Queen of eternal ice" – is a fairy-tale, which attracted lots of young and not very young spectators of Dnepropetrovsk. Despite the fact that almost each person knows original story of the book of Andersen, this performance was full of unexpected and keen moments. Until the last words children with a great attention and delightfully watched story of two the same age they are children, which were played by Darya Sherbina and Ruslan Guzanov finely. But the most interesting presentation could be watched long before a performance. Months of hard work of stage-director Julia Gaidai, decorator Julia Matvienko and many-many others, understanding and help each other, which the whole team had to express to each other – this was made for successful work. Experience, which every participant has now, brought a great benefit to the Theater-Studio. And also as a result we had a successfully played performance, which made an audience happy and brought into each heart a small particle of that fairy-tale, which is believed in by kids and which is so necessary for adults.
