Раньше я и не задумывалась сколько написано стихотворений и песен о мамах. А в четверг (4 марта) я услышала много таких песен и некоторые очень глубоко трогали душу. Ведь я тоже дочь и у меня есть мама. Мамочка, которую я очень люблю и которой я благодарна за все то, что она мне дала. За любовь, за ласку, за заботу.

Can Christians trust science?

This question bothers of many a believer, and we invite you to the discussion of this topic at the discussion evening held by the Centre of Christian Learning, on Friday, the 12th of March, at the building of "Alpha and Omega", on Dimitrova St. 19. The event starts at 18:30.

The discussion will be moderated by Sergei Nikolenko, who has already led for us a series of excellent lectures, Science and Christianity (the audio records of these lectures are available in our gallery, in Russian).

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men" (Lk. 2:13-14)

God with us!

"Therefore the LORD Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." Isaiah 7:1

Over 700 years before the Birth of Christ, God through the prophet Isaiah gave this prophecy. A prophecy that said God would come and be with us. That is what the name "Immanuel" means. It means God with us. In Matthew 1:23 we read: "The virigin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel which means, "God with us." People were starving for God's presence and they were wondering if God would ever come to their rescue. It was this prophecy that gave them hope.
